Telia Carrier keeps popping up everywhere. As part of their 2013 network expansion program, they wanted a way to communicate to the Middle East telecommunications market that they were opening three new PoPs in Doha, Dubai and Muscat. Hilanders developed a campaign based on the simple idea that a direct backbone connection removes the distance between people; whether they are communicating, gaming, or simply want high-quality access to global content. Rather than taking the approach of “connecting the Middle East to the world”, Hilanders turned it around to show how Telia Carrier “connects the world to the Middle East”. We took a customer-centric approach to bring them closer to the world. Geography is History.
